Ingredients

1 acorn squash
4 tablespoons margarine or butter
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper

Directions:

Cut acorn squash in half, length-wise. Scrape out seeds with a spoon. No need to peel. Cut each half in half again. This, of course, means the squash is now in quarters. Add a pat of butter to the hollowed-out side of each quarter. Sprinkle on salt and pepper. Place on baking dish and put in 375 degree oven for about an hour. Eat by scraping soft squash from rind.

Please note that some ingredients and brands may not be available in every store.
